The prices quoted throughout our online store include standard UK VAT where appropriate. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. There may be occasions where prices are incorrectly quoted or change at short notice as a result of circumstances beyond our control. If this situation occurs you will be informed of the correct price by telephone or email as soon as possible and should you not wish to proceed, that part of your order will be cancelled.

If you are not happy with the final fit, we will happily alter it free of charge for you. Please follow the instructions below for returning your purchase to us. Alterations normally take 10 working days from when we receive them depending upon the item, if this is not feasible we will contact you with a time scale. Terms of Postage AND COSTS OF POSTAGE ON RETURN TO US REMAIN RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.

We reserve the right to change jewellery and designs from time to time. We will bring any changes to your attention when replying to a product enquiry or placing an order.
Jessop Jewellers Ltd reserve the right to withdraw goods from sale at any time. All purchases are subject to our website details being correct. Jessop Jewellers Ltd reserves the right not to sell any item and in these circumstances a full refund will be given.
All Delivery times are approximate and Jessop Jewellers Ltd cannot be responsible for any delay due to manufacturing or any other circumstances. If we know of any delay we will notify you straight away by Telephone or E-mail.
Value Added Tax
VAT is added at the current UK rate, except where goods are zero rated for tax purposes. All quoted prices on the online shop are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Your goods will be delivered using either Royal Mail or a specialist carrier. Delivery charges are shown when you place an order.
We dispatch goods on the same day if the order is received before 15.00 hrs, Monday - Thursday, and before 13.00hrs on a Friday, delivery is dependent on your location your choice of delivery and when you have ordered. Delays may be experienced during certain times of the year and if this is the case we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible via email or telephone. Deliveries to remote areas of the country may take longer to deliver than the times specified above. Some items are made to order and the lead in times for these will be given when placing your order.
We are not responsible for orders with incorrect or missing information input by our customers should they not reach you. Please ensure that your shipping address details are correct, as they are used exactly as inputted by yourself when submitting you order.
Should you receive any items that you did not order or something is missing please contact us no later than 10 working days of your dispatch date.
Your right of cancellation
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 days of receipt.
Due to the nature of the business and dispatch times the company will not allow cancelation of orders once the product has been dispatched and is therefore outside of our control. In such instances the customer will incur the cost of returning the products at which point the request will be completed. All services such as bespoke items, whether it be 'special order' items or 'engraving' must be cancelled before the service/product is undertaken/dispatched. If your order is dispatched and you wished to cancel it, you can return the items within 7 working days, subject to our returns policy.
The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you do so at your own expense. Once the item is received at Jessop Jewellers Limited, we will issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must give written notice to the Jessop Jewellers Limited by hand or post, giving details of the goods ordered and (where appropriate) their delivery. Notification by phone is not sufficient.
In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you exercise your right of cancellation after the goods have been delivered to you, you will be responsible for returning the goods to Jessop Jewellers Limited at your own cost. The goods must be returned Jessop Jewellers, 28 Lyon Way, Kingdom Centre, Glenrothes, Fife, UK, KY7 5NN. You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged in the meantime or in transit. In the case of faulty or misdescribed goods Jessop Jewellers Limited shall reimburse any reasonable postage costs incurred by the customer. Once you have notified Jessop Jewellers that you are cancelling the order, Jessop Jewellers Limited will refund or re-credit you within 30 days for any sum that has been paid by you or debited from your credit card for the goods. Except in the case of faulty or misdescribed goods, if you do not return the goods as required, Jessop Jewellers Limited may charge you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering the goods.
*We do not exchange or refund branded earrings due to hygiene reasons. Exceptions will be made for Jessops exclusive earrings.
When placing an order, the address given must be the same as that registered with your credit card company. To process your order more efficiently, we also request a land line telephone number (not a mobile) to be used in case of query. Credit card payments are processed by the RBoS online merchant Streamline from whom you will receive a separate notification of payment via email. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta by secure server.
Other forms of payment such as cheques may be considered but can be refused at company discretion. All monetary transactions are dealt with the upmost of confidence and the company takes all legal and additional precautions to ensure delicate payment information is secured. However you by accepting these terms and conditions accept that the company will not be held liable for breach of such information to the extent that the law will allow. All goods remain the property of the company until paid for in full. Payment for products/ services available from this website does also not bind the company to any agreement to supply such items. As such the company reserve the right to refuse any transaction for whatever reason at its own discretion.
